Thank you to colleagues from Citizens for spending the morning with Genesis students to support our financial education efforts. Students attended workshops on topics like banking, budgeting, and credit in both English and Spanish. We are grateful for longstanding partners like Citizens who understand the power of adult education, workforce development, and financial empowerment.

🧑🏾‍🍳 Student Hightlight: Thomas
We’re kicking off a new series highlighting the students who show up, put in the work, and continue to grow in our culinary program.
Thomas has been with us for just a few months, but his engagement, consistency, and willingness to learn have already stood out. He’s taken every opportunity to get more involved and develop his skills—and that growth is leading him into his next position as a PM BOH Supervisor.
We’re excited to watch Thomas continue to grow as a cook, a leader, and a member of the CHOP team.
Keep pushing Thomas. We’re glad you’re here! 👏🏻
