You give me two pieces of pop culture (or really any things) and I work with you to mash them up into an original customized painting.

Throwback: This is a painting I did in 1999 on drywall. It was from my Painting 1 class and while I was a couple years into my art classes, it's where I turned a corner and finally hit on something. Very narrative and some drawing problems but it gave me the feeling that I could do it when I was floundering. I honestly might be the most important painting I ever made because it kept me on the path.
It's a BRAND NEW PAINTING! Yep, it's a tribute to the bronze era and Jack Kirby in general, it's Mister Miracle / the Great Escape. A really fun painting to make that was some of the stuff I grew up on.

As I dubbed them, it's the Just-Brush League. It was a series of three paintings made for a rad dentist in Connecticut. Dr. Coppola's Center Street Family Dentistry. This was Wonderwoman / Dental Hygiene. Lasso of Truth is the only way I'm owning my flossing habits in there.
I fit seven versions of Calvin and his alter egos in this painting. Can you find them all?

Well, here's a new painting and the most comic book I've ever comic booked! It's Mister Miracle / the Great Escape with a big nod to Jack Kirby, the creator of Mister Miracle and pretty much every other comic book of the 60-70s. Had a blast making this one. Bring me your niche ideas!

As I dubbed them, it's the Just-Brush League. It was a series of three paintings made for a rad dentist in Connecticut. You can always go and visit them when you get your teeth cleaned! Dr. Coppola's Center Street Family Dentistry. This was Batman / Dental Hygiene
An oldie and yet, a real goodie. One of my favorite paintings and my favorite takes on the Two Thangs idea. It's Robin and Cheeseburgers with a healthy dose of Hasslehoff.
