Today School One said farewell to our lovely Office Manager, Lida. Lida spent many years with us, greeting students with a warm smile in the morning, keeping the ramen closet stocked, and even using her sewing skills to hem the occasional prom dress. She wasn’t one for photos, often working quietly behind the scenes, but her impact was massive. She will be missed dearly, but she will always be a part of the School One family. Join us as we wish her well on all of her future endeavors!

This past Wednesday School One partook in our favorite annual tradition, Farm Day!

Students enjoyed crafts, games, time in the sun, and the lake while getting a chance to make new friends and spend time with old ones.

We’re officially ready for fall now, but we’re already thinking about next year!

As this year’s Farm Day steadily approaches, we’re taking a look back at all the fun we’ve had on Farm Days past!

Farm Day is a longstanding School One tradition. Every Fall, we enjoy a community day at Austin Farm, farm of Brian Bishop and late and beloved faculty member Laurie Spry. Students and staff spend the day playing games, swimming in the pond, having a cookout, and generally enjoying each other’s company in the great outdoors.

It's going to be a busy trimester here at School One! With the school year officially in full swing, we want to remind you of a few dates you won't want to miss!

We are eagerly awaiting the first day of school! Parents, we invite you to cure your first day blues (or celebrate!) with a cup of coffee. Pop across the street and join us on the front porch after drop off!
