Sleepyhead

So excited for DromFest this weekend! (I feel a little guilty posting about it since it’s sold out.) This is a fun read. See you Sunday at The Avalon Lounge!

Artists Talk Dromfest 2026 - Rock and Roll Globe Now in its fourth year, Al Crisafulli's Dromfest continues to be the premiere festival for fans of classic college radio with a lineup that will make any

But now or you’ll have serious FOMO on Labor Day Weekend!

LOW TICKET ALERT: If you are planning to come to Dromfest on Saturday or Sunday (or both), and you have yet to buy tickets, there are less than 30 left for either day. NOW IS THE TIME. The number of tickets we have available is driven by capacity restrictions of the room, so once we're sold out, we're sold out - as much as we'd love to, we can't do you a favor, we can't sneak you in, we can't take your money at the door - BUY YOUR TICKETS NOW.

Looking forward to this tonight!

Just announced but tickets are already selling briskly, so act soon if you don’t want to miss it! It’s a really great event! Ticket link in comments.

Coming up in a couple of weeks!

Tonight! At Myrtle Rhode Island with The Dambuilders who were incredible last night in NYC playing to a packed room. Hope to see you fine Providence folks there!

Tonight at the Mercury Lounge in NYC with The Dambuilders! We have to downgrade an original bassist Mike Galinsky appearance on stage to “possible” due to a Savannah Bananas rain preponememt (is that a word?) from Saturday to Friday at Yankee Stadium that will make it trickier for him to get there in time for our set, but we’re holding out hope. 🤞(No he doesn’t play for them but he is an important part of their team nonetheless. ⚾️)

Providence! It’s been a while. Such an important part of our story going back to when we spent the summer of 1990 in a sublet on the East Side. We are thrilled to be playing Myrtle Rhode Island with The Dambuilders on Saturday, April 25. And this is the fifth (of five) of Rachael’s homemade embroidered show flyers.

Rachael has been at the embroidery machine again! We are so stoked to be playing with our old pals The Dambuilders in our old neighborhood at the Mercury Lounge in New York City on Friday, April 24. Derek is going to be traveling but we just couldn’t say no to playing with The Dambuilders, so Chris and Rachael’s son Finn will be filling in for him on guitar for this show, as well as the following night’s show in Providence at Myrtle Rhode Island . But wait there’s more! Founding Sleepyhead bassist Mike Galinsky just happens to be in town that night with the Savannah Bananas and yes he will be sitting in on a couple of tunes! NOT TO BE MISSED! 😀
