A look back at CSB Nutrition in Spanish Fork, Utah! In 2020, our team provided the complete mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for this project. It’s always rewarding to see our coordinated MEP designs become part of a finished building serving the local community.

Why Every AEC Firm Needs a CRM and How to Use It

For many AEC firms, business development starts with a simple spreadsheet, a stack of business cards, or a salesperson who remembers who they talked to six months ago. That might work when a company is small. But as a firm grows, managing client relationships from memory becomes increasingly difficult and opportunities can easily fall through the cracks. That is where a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system comes in.

Responsiveness is about more than answering quickly. It’s about helping the entire project team continue moving forward.

That means listening carefully, communicating updates clearly, and addressing questions before they become larger obstacles.

At Royal Engineering, being responsive is one of our Three Uniques. We know architects, owners, and contractors depend on timely information to make decisions and maintain momentum.

Our goal is to be a reliable partner throughout the process—and ultimately, the easiest engineering team to work with.

This project is Premier Medical – Vineyard Clinic! We had the opportunity to work with Kendall Springer Architect on the mechanical and plumbing design for this medical office tenant improvement in 2022. We’re proud to have played a part in bringing this healthcare space to life!

Every project begins with a vision—and good engineering should support that vision, not compete with it.

At Royal Engineering, we start by listening. We work to understand the owner’s priorities, the architect’s design intent, and the experience the finished space needs to provide.

From there, we develop mechanical, electrical, and plumbing solutions that support the bigger picture while addressing performance, constructability, and long-term operation.

Designing to the owner’s vision is one of our Three Uniques—and an important part of how we help make ideas a reality.

This project is Slate Multifamily! We had the opportunity to be invloved with this awesome project back in 2023! We did the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for this 148 unit building in Salt Lake City, Utah!

Early coordination is one of the most valuable investments a project team can make.

Bringing architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams together early helps identify potential conflicts before they reach construction. It also creates opportunities to develop more integrated solutions that support the project’s design, budget, schedule, and long-term performance.

Better coordination early leads to fewer surprises later—and a smoother experience for everyone involved.
