Although our rover got a little overwhelmed, you don’t have to be. We have great people at the Makerspace workshop who can answer any questions you have or assist you with your projects!

Come check it out on the 4th floor!

Leathersmith expert calls BYU Makerspace a ‘hidden gem’ on campus 04/14/2026

Thanks to The Universe, word is out on how many things you can do in the Makerspace.

Leathersmith expert calls BYU Makerspace a ‘hidden gem’ on campus “(As) humans, we are born to create,” George Wait, a Brigham Young University student studying product design, said. “The maker space exists to help people nurture creativity (and) to help them create and to grow."

Time flies here!... Maybe a little bit too much? 💀

Our underground 2nd and 1st floors are great for patrons looking for low-distraction study environments. We have open collaborative and quiet study zones, as well as reserve-able private study rooms.

And! If you don't understand the reference in this comic, ask our Physics and Astronomy librarians at our 2nd floor Science and Engineering help desk about time dilation! Or check out a copy of Christopher Nolan's Interstellar (2014) to trade our local mountains for some waves 😉
