April is an excellent time of year for a lawn reseeding project. Temperatures will have sufficiently warmed, so newly planted grass seeds will grow well. This timing will ensure the new seedlings have approximately two months to grow and mature prior to the heat of summer.

Lawn Care Tip: Continue to water deeply and as often as needed. We recommend one last deep watering the very end of October to make sure your lawn has plenty of water going into the winter. Afterward, drain your sprinkler system. This will be enough time before the hard frosts of December to protect your sprinkler system from damage.
