Fresh-cut mango and new-crop Washington SugarBee apples are Monday’s Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) selections! Participating students will receive mango chunks in single-serving bags and one whole SugarBee apple each.
The fruits also offer a chance to connect food with how it grows. Mangoes grow on evergreen trees in warm climates, while SugarBee apples trace their beginnings to a bee carrying pollen to a Honeycrisp blossom in Minnesota.
Ask your student how the two fruits compare in color, texture and taste. Read more at http://provo.edu/news

We would like to thank our members of our Hope squad for showing up today and walking in with us in the walk for Hope. We had some of our other tigers join us. I’d also would like to thank Mr. Greg Hudnall and his wife Belinda for attendance. Mr. Hudnall is the founder of Hope squad which started as a pilot program at Timpview high school in 2004. Mr. Hudnall also hired Miss Marsha back in 1999. We are so grateful for him and all he does for su***de prevention.

On Friday we had the honor of welcoming the Consul General of Peru, Minister Yesica Fonseca Martínez, to Timpanogos Elementary!
Her visit was truly inspiring for our students. She reminded them that they can accomplish anything they set their minds to—even becoming a consul someday!
We also talked about the importance of reading. Reading is the door to knowledge, and knowledge opens the door to endless possibilities. We hope our students continue reading, dreaming big, and believing in themselves!
