Our company specializes in sewer lateral and water service replacement and repair

September rolls around along the Wasatch Front, and while the rest of your yard's looking a little crispy after this air-fryer summer, you spot it: One patch of grass that's just vibrantly green, almost like it's been photoshopped in.

That's your main water service line, busted and leaking underground, deep-watering your lawn in that particular spot only.

If you've seen one of those suspicious green spots, or maybe your water pressure's suddenly taken a nosedive, or your water bill's just plain weird, don't just sit around waiting for a sinkhole to swallow your prize petunias.

We aren’t plumbers showing up with a beat-up van and a shovel. We're the real deal when it comes to digging up outdoor utilities. We've got the right equipment, we'll find the leak, get that line replaced – usually by the end of the day – and then we'll put everything back together, so your yard doesn't look like a war zone.

See a magical green spot popping up? Give us a holler or shoot us a text today. We'll come take a look at it for free.

It's a total bummer to fork over a $300 service fee to a plumber only to get told: "Yep, it's leaking... somewhere under your lawn."

Plumbers just handle the pipes inside your house. But when your water main line splits or your sewer lateral collapses out in the yard, those guys just won't cut it. You need some heavy iron, the right equipment, and a crew that’s out there doing underground utilities every single day.

If water's bubbling up in your grass or your drains are backing up from the main line, just skip the hassle and call us first. Aspen Utilities will come out, give you a straight-forward estimate for free, bring the trackhoe, and actually get the line fixed.

Shoot us a DM or give us a call directly at 801-860-8504 to get scheduled.

Things no one tells you when you buy a house:

You don’t just own the house. You also own the sewer pipe under your front yard allll the way to the city main in the middle of the street. Surprise!
That giant, beautiful shade tree in your front lawn? It’s roots love your 1970s clay pipe way more than you do.
Your water line can leak thousands of gallons underground before you start to notice your lawn turning into a swamp.
"Flushable wipes" were invented by people who don't fix main sewer lines.

When the ground starts sinking, the grass turns suspiciously green in one spot, or your basement floor drain starts gurgling back at you... don't panic. That’s just underground utility homeowner life along the Wasatch Front.

If the plumber you had stop by mentioned anything about a snake, call Aspen Utilities. We dig it up, fix it right, and get your yard back in order without the runaround.

Got a mysterious wet spot in the yard or an old line acting up? Send us a DM or give us a call before your front yard becomes a pond.

We get calls all the time from folks who were told by another contractor that they'd be without water for a whole week.

Honestly? That’s usually just not necessary.

Here’s the reality of it: Most water line replacements get done in a single day. Sewer lateral jobs usually take just a day or two, depending on when the city inspector can swing by.

We’ve dug enough yards along the Wasatch Front to know how to move fast without cutting corners. Our crews show up ready to go. We handle the city coordination ahead of time for the sewer jobs, and water line work is handled by us from start to finish, usually without any city involvement needed.

You shouldn't have to pack up the family and get a hotel room just to get your pipes fixed. It really just comes down to hiring a team that specializes in this exact type of work.

Got a line that needs fixing? Give Aspen Utilities a call. We'll get your water back on, fast.

Before the sand goes down and the dirt goes back in, here’s a peek at a fresh water main tap done right.

Tapping a main is more than just drilling into a pipe. It takes a solid, watertight fit that won't leak under pressure or shift when buried 10 feet down in rocky Utah ground.

Here's what you're looking at:

1️⃣ Brass Corp Stop: Tapped clean with a heavy-duty brass valve for a tight seal right at the main.
2️⃣ Poly Service Line: Connected with high-density blue poly pipe built for heavy ground pressure and movement.
3️⃣ Sand Bedding (Next Step): Cleaning out loose dirt and packing clean sand around the line so rocks don't pinch or rub the pipe once backfilled.

Whether it's a new build or a leaking line replacement, we handle both the excavation and the tap work right the first time.

Call the shop at 801-860-8504 or send us a message for quick, quality mainline utilities and service installs.

No work talk today...just good food, great music, and incredible company!

We hosted our annual Aspen Utilities goat roast this past weekend, and it was a resounding success. We want to extend a massive thank you to our amazing friends at and for supplying top-tier meat goats and chickens. Everything was slow-cooked to perfection inside the incredible cooking trailer generously donated by .

It was a day full of family, friends, music, and unforgettable memories. Leaving work behind allowed us to celebrate the deeper connections with the community that supports us.

A special shoutout to and many more we couldn’t tag here for all the hard work! Here’s to celebrating the people who make it all worthwhile.

Look, we love a good drain snake. They’re great for clearing out hair, grease, or whatever mystery toy your kid flushed down the toilet.

But a snake can’t rebuild a pipe that’s flat-out crushed under your lawn.

If your line keeps backing up every few months, stop throwing money at quick unclogs. Between old clay lines along the Wasatch Front, heavy ground settling, and deep winter freezes, pipes cave in more often than folks realize. Forcing a snake into a collapsed pipe is just spinning a metal cable in Utah dirt and it can actually get the cable stuck down there.

Save yourself the headache and the extra cash. Call Aspen Utilities. We’ll get a scope camera down there first so you know what you're actually dealing with underground.

Got a drain that won't stay clear? DM us or give us a call. We'll run a camera and give it to you straight.

POV: You tried to fix the leak on your own.

Look, we get it. We’re in Utah, fixing it yourself is practically in our blood. But swinging a pickaxe into that rock-hard ground for hours trying to locate a leaking pipe? That’s a fast track to a blown-out back and a bigger water bill.

Save your back. Call the guys who bring the heavy iron and do this every single day. We’ll get it dug, fixed, and covered back up before your shoulders even start aching.

Drop us a DM or call the shop to get an estimate. We’ve got your back.

Okay, we admit we got a laugh out of this. We've seen it all, and if your front yard is looking a bit 'nautical' right now, take a deep breath.

We're on the way to get things handled. We know that feeling when things are just wild before they get fixed. We're here to bring some order to the chaos.

Proudly serving our local community with reliability.

When your drains slow down and the sewer line backs up out of nowhere...it’s not a conspiracy theory. 90% of the time along the Wasatch Front, it’s just tree roots.

Those mature shade trees in Sugar House, the East Bench, or older neighborhoods love sewer pipe moisture. One hairline crack lets a root hair inside, and before long, the whole line is choked off.

Running a drain snake cuts them back for a minute, but they’ll keep coming back until the pipe is actually fixed.

Got slow drains or a soggy spot in the yard? Give Aspen Utilities a call. We handle the digging, fix the lateral line for good, and leave your yard looking right.
