Introducing My Buddy

The Professional Cable Routing Guide Built for Installers.

The tool every installer will wish they had.

Every installation starts with a wire pull, and every minute on the job matters. My Buddy was created to simplify one of the most frustrating parts of any installation…guiding cables smoothly through the electrical box as they’re pushed through the wall. By helping prevent cables from catching inside the box, My Buddy keeps installations moving so installers can stay focused on the job.

By keeping cables moving freely through the electrical box, My Buddy allows installers to stay on the ladder, maintain control of the cable, and reduce unnecessary interruptions. Fewer trips up and down the ladder help improve workflow, increase productivity, and contribute to a safer jobsite.

My Buddy also helps reduce the need for two-person cable pulls by allowing one installer to manage the wire pull more efficiently. The result is less labor, fewer delays, and more installations completed in less time helping contractors save time, reduce costs, and maximize their workforce.

Whether you’re installing data, fire alarm, electrical, security, or other low-voltage systems, My Buddy is designed to improve workflow, increase efficiency, and help make every installation smoother from rough-in to trim-out.

My Buddy is now available for pre-order! Visit our website to learn more and reserve yours today:

📢 Local Business Shoutout 📢

After a morning of work at Stow Away Storage Units, we decided to stop at Ceci’s Mexican Kitchen for a Wet Burrito. If you’re out and about this rainy afternoon, stop by and grab one! They won’t disappoint!

It’s been a little while since we’ve made a post, but we wanted to take a moment to give everyone an update and simply say thank you.

Cherokee Shield Security has continued to grow, and we truly feel blessed for every customer, family, business, and surrounding community that has trusted us to help protect what matters most to them. From the very beginning, this company was built on trust, honesty, and taking care of our neighbors and seeing the support we’ve received means more than words can explain.

Getting our first billboard is something we’re extremely thankful for. It’s a reminder of how far we’ve come and how much support this community has shown us. We never take that for granted.

To every person that has shared a post, recommended us, called us, supported us, or given us a chance thank you. You’ve helped us continue building something we truly care about.

We’re going to keep growing, keep showing up, and keep doing everything we can to give families and businesses peace of mind and a feeling of security they can count on.

From our family to yours, thank you for believing in Cherokee Shield Security.

We’re also very excited to announce that we’ll be sharing something very soon our “My Buddy” project and we can’t wait to tell everyone more about it.
