Music is SO important/good for the brain!
The Benefits of Playing Music Help Your Brain More Than Any Other Activity Learning an instrument increases resilience to any age-related decline in hearing.
Anyone interested in their children learning about Irish music, dance, history and language??? I'll be teaching a few Irish songs at the Irish Cultural Center's Summer Workshops series for children ages 7-14 from July 8th - 12th. There's not only music, kids will also get a chance to learn more about Irish sports, as well as create a solar box cooker and make their own magnetic compass and design flashlights. If you're interested, please let me know!
Here’s my student, 2nd grader Chatham Walsh, performing Kacey Musgraves’ “Rainbow” at Plymouth River’s All School Meeting. SO proud of her!!! 👏👏👏
