From arts and crafts to college and career exploration, QARI's youth programs make room for all kinds of discovery!

At this year’s Summer Nights: Culture & Career, youth participants explored something new each week. Over six weeks, they created vision boards, built resumes, attended field trips, and engaged with QARI Youth Leaders and alumni. Along the way, they also got to try new things, connect with peers, and explore facets of pan-Asian culture through food and media.

As the school year gets underway, we are continuing to create spaces where youth can learn and discover new possibilities. Stay tuned for more updates from QARI's Youth Programs!

For years, QARI has provided ESOL education through a variety of programs designed to meet learners where they are - including GROW, our school-based wraparound program!

For many parents, learning English is about more than improving language skills. It can mean feeling more confident communicating with teachers, understanding school information, supporting their children with schoolwork, and becoming more involved in their children’s education.

Through partnerships with public schools in Massachusetts and New York, GROW connects families with fresh produce, nutrition education, and English learning right in their school communities.

📚 This National Literacy Month, let’s celebrate learning that connects to everyday life!

Our Survival English class is part of QARI’s Contextualized ESOL program and is designed for adults who are new to the English language. Students learn practical, conversational English for everyday situations, building the skills and confidence they need to communicate in their daily lives.

Thank you to our volunteer instructors, Larrie Zhang and Sandy Wong-Ng, who bring their passion to the classroom in person. Through conversation and in-class interaction, they help make English learning accessible to our students!
