WE SHOW UP: ONE WAKE INTERNAL ASSEMBLY.
We are an oasis of joy AND a community of resistance. On Saturday, we will gather with other member institutions of ONE Wake to get an update on the good and long work we’ve been doing to secure at scale affordable housing in Wake County. Many of you have been in the room when we’ve asked the hard questions of our elected officials and can speak to the power of building power with others.
If you’ve never been to an action like this, we invite you to join us.
Sign up via onewake.org!

Yesterday was joy, unspeakable joy. 🤩 A celebration of 10 years of the Southeast Raleigh Table. 🎉 An invitation to let God finish what God will do. 🙏🏿 An invitation to remember the “us”. 🫂 A recognition of how dreams must be kept and attended to. 💭
THANK YOU to everyone who joined us in-person and via our livestream! We’re so grateful for you and your presence!
Welcome to the first day of the next ten years. We can’t wait to see what God does among us.
Our staff will be moving with ease this week. We look forward to seeing you next Sunday. 🫶🏿

SER\Tkids are here to say: HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY, SER\T! We can’t believe this day is finally here! We’re celebrating BIG today all that God has done and all of you. Rev. Lisa Yebuah, our Lead Pastor, often talks about how SER\T’s people are the best part.
See you at 11:00am (in-person or virtually via our YouTube channel)!
‘Twas the night before the celebration,
When all through the church,
Staff and volunteers minded details,
And even prepared merch. 👀
All the chairs were arranged with care,
Knowing that SER\T friends and family would soon be there.
Tomorrow is the big day! We can’t wait to see you!
Check our stories for details that will help you have the most hospitable experience.

3 DAYS until we celebrate our 10TH ANNIVERSARY! 🎉
Friends, we have been waiting for this day for a while now. Our space is prepped and our hearts are ready for what Sunday will bring.
Just to offer a sneak peek of the day: Dr. Willie James Jennings, Andrew W. Mellon Professor of Systematic Theology and Africana Studies, will be our guest preacher for the morning. Many of our pastoral staff and parishioners who are practitioners have sat under his tutelage and imagination for the church. We are excited for how his proclamation over us will usher us into the next 10 years!
We will receive new members as well! These individuals have decided to call SER\T on such a memorable day!
And in typical SER\T, we will celebrate on the lawn with some refreshments, music, reflective moments, and connection.
We look forward to seeing you!
Please please please RSVP via the link in our bio! We can’t wait to celebrate with you on Sunday morning!

The Southeast Raleigh Table will not hold in-person or virtual worship on Sunday, September 6th. This pause is intentional. Our hope is that you’ll lean into a slower rhythm wherever you find yourself this weekend. Howard Thurman’s words still ring true, “How good it is to center down!”
A link 🔗 to our “At Home Worship Resource” will be made available on Sunday.
