Only 5 days left to double your impact!

A HOPE Seeker can always count on TRC to be a safe space, where they don’t feel like they have to have it all figured out.

That’s the spark we’re funding this sprint. We’re a fifth way there to our $10,000 goal — every gift between now and Oct 10 is matched DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR!!!

Don’t wait for the finish line — give today! https://givebutter.com/double-the-resilience

At The Resiliency Collaborative, we embrace and celebrate the rich and beautiful culture we are surrounded by everyday! This Hispanic Heritage Month, we emphasize the voices and heritage the Hispanic community shares with us, with an emphasis on our current and previous Changemakers that have and continue to strive to be the leaders of our communities. From folklore to food, history, music, and dance, the Hispanic Community is an example of what a strong community looks like. This month, we encourage everyone to participate in this celebration by learning the history, supporting local small businesses, recognizing the leaders around you, and indulging in the local events that help us embrace and support Hispanic Culture! ¡Feliz Mes De La Herencia Hispana!

One of TRC’s priorities is to advocate for mental health, therefore we recognize and highlight the importance of September 10th as World Su***de Prevention Day. This is a day to remember those affected by su***de, raise awarness, and focus on supporting and uplifting those who may be struggling. Let this be your reminder to reach out as support or to reach out for help. September is su***de prevention month, but TRC sees and validates you every single day! ***depreventionday

TRC offers many opportunities to empower our youth! One of our powerful programs is HOPE Seekers, a peer-led program that empowers youth with mental health strategies and leadership development. This program was created in collaboration with TRC and UNC Gillings School of Public Health, equipping students with the tools to be inclusive and equitable mental health advocates. This summer, we decided to expand our impact! We led a HOPE Seekers Facilitator Intensive, training eight new HOPE Seekers Facilitators—now ready to step into their leadership by guiding future HOPE Seekers. We are very proud of our dedicated HOPE Seekers Facilitators and are more than excited to see them shine as leaders!
