Little Guys Movers Raleigh
We love to move stuff and we have fun doing it. Our story takes us back to 1992, to a humble town in North Texas called Denton.
It was here that a man named Marcus Watson had a simple dream, and together with a few buddies and a couple of Toyota pickups, the rich legacy that is Little Guys Movers began...
In 2012, it dawned on us — we had yet to explore the east coast. Hearing that North Carolina's capital was a good place to start, we caught the next flight out and spent several days in the City of Oaks trying to get a taste of the true Raleigh experience. What we saw was a thriving town that was rich in history and surrounded by other booming cities. The culturally-flourishing downtown, the music, the breweries (oh, the breweries!) ... needless to say, we got our ducks in a row and began the process of finding our next office space. In the fall, we started taking interviews for potential managers at what quickly became one of our favorite hangouts — Natty Greene's Pub. It was there we met North Carolina native Greg Schmid, and he proved to be like-minded in the ways of doing a job right the first time. He was hired on as the manager for Little Guys Movers Raleigh, and several months later, early March 2013, we opened the doors to the shop. The beginning stages of opening a new store are usually a little hectic, sometimes a little scary, but always a thrill to look forward to. Here's to our future adventures in Raleigh.

You know it's spooky season when...

We got a message yesterday asking if we do load-only jobs.
Yes. Lots of them.
So often, people get a POD or rental truck without thinking through how much it will take to get all their stuff in or out.
Large furniture, appliances, 10,000 boxes, two tons of books... It all adds up.
Call us. We do that.

We thrive on challenges!
One of our recent moves had us disassemble a massive hutch, then carefully pack the pieces for reassembly on the other end. You'd be surprised what we can handle with some creative problem-solving.
Not a scratch, baby!
It's spooky season! As horrifying as moving seems, with the right booovers, you're in good hands!
With Little Guys Movers, every job is a treat!

Two objects can't occupy the same space at the same time. When the angles don't work, we don't stop.

Apartment moves often require what we like to call "creative problem solving."
For this recent job, our crews split the difference between a couple of parking spaces to get easy access to our customer's home.
And before you ask, it is always ok to ask a mover to let you out if we've trapped you in a blocked-in parking spot! ☺️

Moving in and out of historic homes brings its own set of challenges. Those narrow hallways and uneven stairs require careful planning.
When you add antiques into the mix, it becomes a professional-level move!
Rest assured, we treat all your belongings with the utmost care. If you have something particularly special, just let us know, and we’ll make sure it gets extra attention on moving day.
