Another behind-the-scenes moment from rehearsal…

The Hunchback of Notre Dame doesn’t begin with a typical Broadway opening—it begins with a prayer. Those haunting opening “ah”s immediately set this score apart, blending the soaring emotion of musical theatre with the grandeur of sacred choral music. It’s bold, breathtaking, and unlike anything else in the musical theatre canon.

This is where it all begins. Before the lights, before the costumes, before the stunning architecture of Vintage Church becomes part of the storytelling, these voices lay the foundation for the journey ahead.

We’re so grateful that audiences will soon experience this production, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to Vintage Church August 12–15. Until then, enjoy another little behind-the-scenes glimpse from rehearsal. ✨

✨ Behind the scenes of the Feast of Fools!

Our rehearsal space, The Studio, has been home to rehearsals and the construction of a portion of our set before it makes the move to Vintage Church in Downtown Raleigh. Every piece has been designed to work with the church’s architecture and beautiful stained glass, creating a world where the scenery and the space become one.

Enjoy this rehearsal look at “Topsy Turvy” featuring the electrifying Sai Graham as Clopin. If you’re one of the lucky ticket holders, you’ll soon see how it all comes together. If not… here’s a little peek behind the curtain. 😉
