Gay For Good Raleigh-Durham

We are always happy to help out at Crape Myrtle Festival’s annual gala. This was their 46th year of raising money for various LGBTQ+ and AIDS related organizations. We were busy checking folks in and making sure folks had singles to tip the performers.

What a great way to spend a Saturday morning! 🌳💚

Seven wonderful volunteers kicked off our very first cleanup at Glen Eden Pilot Park. We picked up litter, shared lots of laughs, and enjoyed getting to know one another. The conversations, laughter, and sense of community made the morning extra special.

Afterward, we kept the fun going over brunch and enjoyed a little extra time together.

We're excited to share that we've officially adopted this park through Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department, so we'll be back every other month to help keep it beautiful.

Join our Adopt-a-Park Cleanup!

Volunteer with us as we kick off our first event at Glen Eden Pilot Park, which we've proudly adopted through the City of Raleigh's Adopt-A-Park Program! We'll be cleaning up trash and debris and identifying any maintenance or safety concerns that can be reported to Raleigh Parks.

Hope to see you there as we support the long-term health of this community green space.

🌱💚 What a great day at Sanderford Road Park! 💚🌱

Our incredible volunteers showed up for the inaugural G4G Pride for the Planet event partnering with Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department—and together we removed over 1,000 pieces of litter from the park!

Beyond the cleanup, we wrapped up the event with lunch together—celebrating the impact we made and the community we’re building.

Join us as we once again buddy-up with the little champions of The Miracle League of the Triangle at their softball game in Cary on May 2. We will partner up with the young, physically challenged players at their softball game. You will run the bases with them and keep them safe and entertained between innings.
