Perhaps the most memorable railroad event of our lifetime saw the unorthodox meeting of Union Pacific 4014 and Reading 2102. In celebration of USA 250, they can be seen here pacing side by side in a public spectacle of American Railroading.

Union Pacific 4014 charges out of Black Rock Tunnel on her way Westward to Lebanon, PA. This over 1900 foot long tunnel was the third ever tunnel built in the United States, originally constructed in 1835.
