Face the Music is a two-week music program that introduces guitar, keyboard, and percussion to new and beginner musicians at Olivet Center for the Arts 🎶
RMF's fabulous instructors rotated more than two dozen students through stations, teaching traditional and popular songs. Students were allowed the opportunity to perform a piece of their choosing–making the program student-centered and a fun time for all.
Music teachers are always our favorite type of people, and these instructors are at the top of our list! 🫶🏻 Endlessly patient and kind, they meet these young musicians where they are, find a way to make them shine, and encourage them to take the next step, no matter how big or how small.
They are the face of RMF and our mission, and we are so proud to have this group of professionals make our programs possible!
Jeff Roeckle, Guitar
Cliff Starkey, Keyboard
Marializ Guzman, Guitar
Michael Clipman, Percussion
Not Present: Josh Taylor, Guitar & RMF's Olivet Coordinator

New century. New logo. Same mission 🎶
We're so excited to launch our new logo to celebrate our centennial! 🎉
We recognize what an incredible opportunity it is for a non-profit organization to be celebrating a 100-year milestone. There are so many people whom we have to thank for helping us get to this point, none more so than our founders, who, in 1926, saw the value of music and what it could do for our community. A small group of visionaries who devoted their time, resources, and dollars because they were looking towards the future of what a foundation investing in music could accomplish in our community.
Special thanks to RMF trustee Mike Anderson for creating this wonderful design!
We hope you enjoy the new look, and we can't wait to share all that we're working on as we celebrate the past 100 years and look forward to the next 👀

Noon Tunes 🎶☀️
We had such an enjoyable afternoon at The Highlands for our annual Noon Tunes concert! With over 70 attendees, the luncheon was spent catching up with old friends, listening to our talented students perform, and even joining in on a sing-along to Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Edelweiss”.
Thank you to our performers, Adam, David, and Moses for performing this afternoon, and thank you to The Highlands for hosting us!

Congratulations, Heidi, on your acceptance to Johns Hopkins for Pre-Med! 🎉
Heidi--your persistence, drive, and love for the world will continue to take you far. We are so proud of you!
These voices are most definitely on our list of favorite things 🤩🎶
We were happy to join the BYC Summer Sing campers for their concert, “Family and Friends, Friends and Family” last Friday.
This clip is just a snippet of what the young singers performed, led by Official Berks Youth Chorus MasterSingers Director, Dan Behler, and Chorale Director, Grace Mittleman.
Included in the program was an original composition from the students. Here’s a little snippet of their lyrics from “Family and Friends, Friends and Family”:
When days are bright or skies are grey
They stand beside me all the way
With love and kindness that never ends
I’m lucky to have my family and friends.
