Congratulations, Cohort 47! 🎉

Over the past eight weeks, participants in our R3 program – Rebuilding Reentrants and Reading – have completed hands-on training, explored the skilled trades, and gained valuable experience to help prepare them for employment and long-term success. 🛠️✨

This milestone marks the beginning of what comes next, and we’re excited to watch each graduate put their skills and experience into action. Here’s to the next chapter!

A huge thank you to the local leaders and supporters who joined us to celebrate and share their encouragement.

✨ We were excited to welcome United Way of Berks County’s Loaned Campaign Specialists (LCS) to Connections Work this week! ✨

As they hit the campaign trail to raise funds for United Way’s annual campaign, the LCS visited our agency to learn more about our programs and the impact of United Way’s support in our community.

We had the opportunity to share more about our Working Toward Change program at the Berks County Jail and how United Way funding helps us support individuals as they work toward a fresh start. The LCS also heard firsthand from our clients about the difference these programs make in their lives.

We’re incredibly grateful for United Way’s continued partnership and for the LCS who help share these stories and raise funds to support our community! 💛
