Donna Reed City Council President had a great time stopping by the library to check out the magazines and newspapers in our reading area! She found a fan favorite, Berks County Living, a magazine she loves writing for.

Some of the best things in life are books and gardens, and as it turns out, our library provides both! 🌱

State Senator Judy Schwank and her Community Outreach Coordinator, Crystal Gilmore-Harris, recently stopped by and visited our Seed Library, which is now currently accepting seed donations. Although it is most popular in spring, free seeds are available all year long to the community in this self-serve station at Main that was once an old card catalog.

Senator Schwank is not only an avid gardener, but she is a book lover, too! She believes in the power of literacy and hopes you will stop by RPL to get your library card today.

Anthony Orozco from Barrio Alegría wants you to when you come to our Book Fair on Saturday, October 3 at RPL Main! The event is from 1-9PM, featuring story times & crafts for children and teens, adult workshops, and a night market with a DJ and open mic. You won't want to miss this free event for all ages and book lovers alike!

PS - Even though we would love for you to get your library card that day, all of our events are free to the public, and you do not need a library card to participate!
