🍂 LEAVES, STICKS & ROCKS

Nature is one of the best (and FREE!) toys for little ones!

🍁 Leaves: Crinkle, tear, sort by color, or make a leaf pile to jump/walk through.
🪵 Sticks: Collect, tap, stir, stack, or use them to “draw” in dirt.
🪨 Rocks: Find big/small rocks, count them, sort them, or make a little rock tower.
👀 Build language: Talk about big/little, rough/smooth, heavy/light, colors & sounds.
✋ Build skills: Picking up, carrying, stacking, dumping, and throwing (where safe!) builds fine- and gross-motor skills.

Follow their lead: Let your child explore while you narrate what they’re doing. “You found a BIG rock!”
