CPC is grateful to be New Jersey’s first Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) advancing a model of care that is transforming how behavioral health services are delivered. As a CCBHC for more than a decade, we are committed to ensuring that everyone has access to high-quality, comprehensive behavioral healthcare—regardless of their ability to pay, where they live, or the complexity of their needs. Our integrated approach brings together mental health care, substance use disorder treatment, 24/7/365 crisis services, care coordination, primary care partnerships, peer support, and community-based services to treat the whole person. 💙 Together, we are creating a community where behavioral health is recognized as essential health—and where everyone has the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive.

August is National Overdose Awareness Month. At CPC, we honor the lives lost to overdose, stand beside the families and loved ones forever changed, and reaffirm our commitment to hope, healing, action, and education. This means reducing stigma, expanding access to treatment, supporting families, carrying naloxone, and ensuring that every person in our community knows that there is help and hope available. We were grateful to have our community partner Hope Sheds Light visit us at our Red Bank Counseling Office recently. Hope Sheds Light is a wonderful organization that exists to support families in recovery, and to raise awareness and educate the community about the impact of addiction. Through the sharing of personal experiences they offer strength, wisdom, hope, and resources that lead to positive community change and long-term recovery.

Josh, who found stability after a psychiatric hospitalization, attended CPC’s Partial Care Program in Aberdeen for 18 months where he developed a sense of belonging with his peers, counselors, and recovery community. Through CPC’s Culinary Program he learned new skills and is now working weekends at a local restaurant while also being enrolled as a part time student at a community college.

CPC's Andre Carvalho recently joined together with our Red Bank community for the outdoor awareness event "Recovery Revolution" which brought together community members, local businesses, and recovery supporters to honor those impacted by addiction while sharing messages of hope, resilience, and healing.
