Some black and whites to throw it back for the talented contract personnel selected for the 2026 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo 🎙️

We are proud to see some familiar faces on this year’s list — all of whom have made their way through Red Bluff.

Congratulations to long-time RBRU announcer Wayne Brooks, Chute Boss Tony Amaral, and Specialty Act Rider & Bethany Kiesner, on their NFR selections, along with a special selection for the legendary Bob Tallman.

And another familiar face — Anthony Lucia, who our fans recognize from the California Circuit Finals Rodeo! Anthony is making his second NFR appearance.

We’ll see you all in Vegas, baby!

December is coming fast and the Round-Up is anxiously waiting for the 2026 PRCA National Convention in Las Vegas. We’re thrilled to see this year’s keynote speaker has been announced as Brooke L. Rollins, the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture.

Our directors will attend among hundreds of other top rodeo committees at the Grand Ballroom of the South Point Hotel and Casino.

The theme for 2026 is "Building Our Legacy."
With the er****on of the Red Rock Monument in front of our museum office, and other improvements to the rodeo grounds—we can’t think of a better one!

We are less than a month away from the 8th Annual Broncs & Birdies, we have room for only 10 more teams, if you are interested in getting your team in (sooner than later) contact the office at 530.527.1000 or email [email protected] to let us know you want to be added. Take a look at what is available to the winners of the Golf Tournament and few prizes for the raffle and silent auction. Champions of the golf tournament will win special Montana Silversmiths buckles, and other teams placing may win Resistol hats, Justin Boots or other great items. All proceeds support the Red Bluff Round-Up Museum.

Today's throwback Thursday from the Red Bluff Round-Up takes us back to 1923 when on this day, Mr. Hiram "Hank" Williams was born. Here is a quick fact about Hank Williams and rodeo, he was medically discharged from the Army when he was injured riding a bull in a Texas Rodeo. That injury helped begin his new career in Country Music and now we have three Country Music stars sharing the Hank Williams name. Hank, Hank Jr. and Hank III all have given country music and rodeo fans a lot to cheer about over the years. Happy Birthday to the Hillbilly Shakespeare and his legendary family. Note the picture of Jesse Stahl, you can come see one of his special hats in the Red Bluff Round-Up museum.

Twenty-five years later, we remember... On this 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we pause to honor the nearly 3,000 innocent men, women, and children who lost their lives on that terrible day, and the brave firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders, military personnel, and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger to help others. We especially remember those from our own Red Bluff Round-Up family—our Shareholders, Committee members, volunteers, friends, and members of our community who have passed on since that day. Their lives, their service, and their love for this country will never be forgotten.
The Red Bluff Round-Up is proud to stand with our Shareholders, Committee members, and countless volunteers who proudly carry the American spirit in their hearts. We are a community built on hard work, tradition, service, faith, and love of country. Today, as we look back 25 years, may we never forget the sacrifices made on September 11th, nor take for granted the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. Let us continue to honor those we lost by standing together, helping our neighbors, supporting those who serve, and proudly flying the flag of the United States of America. We Remember. We Honor.
