Following the retirement of our previous Fire Chief, the City of Red Oak is seeking a strategic leader with the experience and vision to fill the boots and lead Red Oak Fire Rescue into its future.

The Fire Chief is an executive leadership role overseeing all aspects of fire suppression, emergency medical services, emergency management, community risk reduction, and department operations while serving as a key member of the City’s leadership team.

Last week, in a galaxy not so far away, some of your Red Oak Firefighters and Admin completed a final inspection of new Fire Engine 182 in Wisconsin, where Pierce Manufacturing is headquartered. This engine replacement is part of our regular replacement schedule for fleet vehicles.

We look forward to seeing this apparatus serving our Red Oak community soon, and ready to respond faster than the Millennium Falcon!
