Today we celebrated California Native American Day at the State Capitol in Sacramento. ๐Ÿชถ
Redding Rancheria was proud to fly our Tribal flag next to so many strong Tribal nations. Seeing our flags together is a reminder of our sovereignty, our resilience and the ancestors who made this day possible.๐Ÿฅ

An honor to be in Washington, D.C. this week as leaders from across Indian Country gathered at the Capitol Hill Club for a reception with Congressman James Gallagher (CA-01), Chairman Marshall Pierite of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana, and our very own Chairman Jack Potter Jr. of the Redding Rancheria.
The evening brought Tribal leaders, congressional partners, and federal allies together in support of the Native American Coalition for Economic Prosperity (NACEP), a national, Tribal led coalition working to strengthen economic sovereignty, create jobs, and open new pathways for investment in Native communities.
Joining the conversation were Chairwoman Lynn โ€œNayโ€ Valbuena of the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation, along with Chairman Anthony Roberts, Secretary Mia Durham, and Council Member Seth Lowell of the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation.
Grateful for leaders who show up for Indian Country and for the relationships being built to carry our Nations forward. ๐Ÿชถ
