Due to limited staff, our Redding Office will be closed to walk-ins from Wednesday September 30th through Monday October 5th. We will be back and open to the public on Tuesday, October 6th.
During this period our phone lines will still be open, and business advisors will continue to meet with clients. You can call us at (530) 222-8323 Mon - Fri from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm

Just a reminder that our Redding office will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday September 8th, because we will be hosting office hours in Burney at the Shasta College Intermountain Center from 10-3.
If you are a small business owner or aspiring entrepreneur in Burney or East Shasta, you can stop by for drop-in no-cost business advising. Everything from permits and licenses, to financial assistance, to marketing.

A message from the Director:
On August 27th, the SBDC lost one of its finest team members, Steve Roth.
Steve was a loving grandfather, a devoted husband, and one of the best business finance advisors on the planet. Steve was a mentor for me, and I would not be where I am in my career without his influence. We worked together on helping numerous businesses here in the North State grow pretty spectacularly, and in the process he taught me a good bit of what I know.
Steve was a straightforward kind of guy and did not sugarcoat things. He would tell you exactly what he was thinking and why. I know he personally dedicated a huge part of his life to helping others, providing sound financial advice and guidance to thousands of businesses over the years. Steve will be missed greatly, and we will be praying for his family and loved ones.
The Chicken is involved, but the Pig is committed!

Our Redding office will be closed Thursday August 27th due to limited staff availability. We will reopen in Redding on Tuesday, September 1st.
