We received a mutual aid request on Monday July 20th for the search for James Roger Carol of Yreka, CA. Carol is a 77 year old backpacker overdue in the area of Little Duck Lake in the Russian Wilderness within Siskiyou County. We sent teams Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday to assist with search efforts.
The search has continued for multiple days with the help from Siskiyou County Sheriff, California Highway Patrol AirOps, and multiple Search and Rescue agencies within the California and Oregon region. We are extremely grateful for all volunteers that have supported the search efforts!
If you have any information please contact the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s office.
