As part of Ridge Crest’s Summer Specialist Series, residents heard from cardiologist Dr. Nicole Orr on all things heart health.
Dr. Orr led an engaging discussion on common cardiac conditions, signs and symptoms to watch for and simple ways to support a healthy heart at any age. It was an informative afternoon filled with helpful takeaways and thoughtful questions from residents.
💜 The lessons our grandparents leave us can shape how we care for others. For Ridge Crest’s Assisted Living Program Director Maura Nemer, that connection is deeply personal.
Watching her beloved “Nana” journey through dementia and receive Memory Care inspired Maura to help other families navigating a similar path.
“In many ways, I feel like I’m doing a service in my grandparents’ memory.”
Maura carries her Nana’s memory with her in the warmth and compassion she brings to all residents within our community.

A gorgeous day, a little friendly competition and plenty of team spirit made for a joyful afternoon at Ridge Crest. ☀️🎳
Associates enjoyed a bracket-style bowling tournament with pins, bowling balls, snacks, cold drinks and plenty of laughs along the way.
It was a wonderful chance to have fun together and celebrate the people who bring so much care and dedication to Ridge Crest each day. And after such a great first year, this just might become a new annual tradition!
Residents even got in on the action too, including Judith M., who stepped up for a turn and showed she was ready to roll.
