🚨 ROAD CLOSURE & SAFETY UPDATE 🚨The Redding Police Department is continuing to track active road condition updates following recent storm damage.

🟢 All roads are OPEN to traffic.

⚠️ CAUTION — LOW-HANGING WIRES:
• Several area roads have low-hanging wires that may not be fully blocked but pose a hazard to taller vehicles. Pass through all cleared areas with extreme caution.

🌙 OVERNIGHT MONITORING:
• Our officers will be actively checking roads throughout the night to monitor conditions and assess hazards.

🚌 SCHOOL BUS COORDINATION:
• We are working directly with the school bus company to provide advanced notice regarding roads where morning pickups may be affected. This ahead-of-time coordination ensures the bus company can plan alternative routes and adjustments as needed.

⚠️ CRITICAL SAFETY REMINDERS:
• Always assume any downed or low-hanging wire is live and dangerous. Stay at least 30 feet away.
• Do not drive over utility lines or bypass safety barricades.

📞 To Report New Hazards: If you encounter an unmarked blocked road or hazardous debris, please call the Redding Police Department non-emergency line at 203-938-3400. Call 911 for emergencies only.
