We transform communities by elevating Artists. Art is a form of communication, an artist's creative vision is their story and their medium is how they tell it.

Artists can sustainably impact the world with their vision with a little help of resources, collaboration, and understanding their value

Fresh Art Pop-Up Show August 14 - August 17 โœ‰๏ธ Postcards โœ‰๏ธ by Brendan Pulver

What if buying a piece of art changed the exhibition itself?

Postcards transforms the Artpothecary into a living installation by artist Brendan Pulver. Hundreds of handmade postcards fill the gallery walls in minimalist grids, but as visitors purchase and take postcards home, the exhibition slowly evolves making every visit a little different than the last.

Alongside the installation, Brendan presents a video work featuring readings from his handmade artist books, inviting visitors into a quieter, more personal exploration of storytelling and memory.

This isn't just an exhibition you look at, it's one you become a part of.

Artists need other artists, and yes.. we know August is busy for everyone. We keep DAC Artist Connect going through the summer because we know how vital connection is. The unfinished ideas. The creative doubts. The big wins that only another artist really understands.

DAC Artist Connect is a casual monthly mixer where current DAC Artist Members can meet fellow artists, share whatโ€™s going on in their creative lives, learn whatโ€™s happening at DAC, and leave feeling a little more connected.

No formal meeting. No awkward networking. Just artists spending time with other artists.

New to DAC? Youโ€™re welcome to join us for one visit before becoming a member. Have a question? Email [email protected]

Tuesday, August 4 | 4โ€“6 PM
DAC Artpothecary, West Rehoboth

This immersive Fresh Art Pop-Up brought together the incredible talents of Eli Cecil, Chef Hari Cameron, and Taber owner of Hunt & Lane to explore the relationship between light, color, texture, flavor, and atmosphere.

Eli created stunning handblown glass vessels, Chef Hari transformed them into edible works of art with beautifully crafted tasting plates, and Hunt & Lane brought it all together with handcrafted furnishings that completely transformed the space.

Watching people slow down, ask questions, experience the work, and genuinely connect with the artists reminded us why we created Fresh Art Pop-Up Shows in the first place.

Art isnโ€™t meant to live only on walls. It can be tasted, touched, experienced, and shared.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made this weekend so special. Hereโ€™s to many more creative collaborations that push the boundaries of what an art show can be.
