That fast-beating heart before the race? It’s not nerves. It’s your body’s inner applause. ❤️👏

And then the finish?? Oh boy, YOU DID THAT and everyone else is cheering for you!

We’ve changed the 5K route and closed more roads for a really fun experience.

Register today-there’s still time to feel that inner (and outer) applause!

Register today and we’ll see you on October 4th!

PS welcome AZA to our race production team! 😎

We have a brand new 5K course for 2026!

To improve flow and feature more runners, we’ve removed the outback design of the original course and built a continuous route through downtown neighborhoods where it will then enter the beautiful Truckee River bike path leading you back to the finish.

Wider course, improved flow, and an exciting route! Look forward to a flat and fast racecourse stacked with volunteers and staff cheering you on the whole way!
