Our Culinary students have been busy in the kitchen all week! 🍰

Students worked hard preparing desserts for the 6th Annual Sneaker Ball hosted by Black Wall Street Reno this Saturday! We are so proud of the time, teamwork, and effort they put into creating something special for this community event.

Opportunities like this allow our students to put their culinary skills into practice while contributing to the Reno community. We can’t wait for Sneaker Ball guests to enjoy what they made! ❤️🖤

Way to represent Encompass and show our core value of Endurance by putting in the work all week to see this project through! 💜

🌱 A big thank you to Sprouts Farmers Market and Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation! 💜

Last week, members of our Encompass Academy staff visited the Sprouts on Disc Drive to personally thank their team for awarding our Garden Club a $5,000 grant!

During our visit, we loved hearing Sprouts team members give positive shoutouts to their coworkers and recognize one another for the great work they do. We also had the opportunity to share more about Encompass Academy, our students, and what our Garden Club is all about.

Thanks to this generous grant, our Garden Club will be purchasing a mobile cooking cart that will give students the opportunity to turn what they grow into hands-on cooking and nutrition experiences. 🌿🥕🍅👩‍🍳

We are so grateful to Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation and our local Sprouts team for investing in our students and helping our Garden Club continue to grow! 💜🌱

📣 Help us bring BIG ideas to life at Encompass Academy!

We’re raising funds for a wide-format color printer that will allow our staff to create posters, classroom resources, student celebrations, schoolwide reminders, and more—all designed specifically for our students and school community. 💜

We’re already more than halfway funded, and every donation helps us get closer to our goal! If you’re able to donate or simply share our project, we would greatly appreciate your support.

🖨️ Check out our DonorsChoose project, Big Ideas Deserve Big Prints!, and help us make our school an even more engaging and welcoming place for our students.

Spirit Week ended with a SWAP! 🔄📚

For Student-Teacher Swap Day, our students dressed like teachers… and our teachers did their best student impressions. 😂 Sweatpants, creatively interpreted uniforms, star pimple patches, and all — everyone understood the assignment!

Such a fun way to wrap up Spirit Week at Encompass! 💜🔥

👯‍♀️💜 Twin Day at Encompass!

Our students and staff showed up with some seriously good matching looks today! We had plenty of twins, trios, and groups — and even our actual sets of twins got in on the fun and dressed alike for Twin Day! 😂 One set even brought their older sister into the matching crew. 💜

We loved seeing everyone have fun and show their school spirit! 🔥

Spirit Week kicked off with Pajama Day! 😴💜✨

Our students and staff came ready to get comfy, but Mr. Stephan may have officially won Pajama Day with the nightcap and candle. 🕯️😂 Talk about commitment to the theme!

We loved seeing everyone get into the spirit today. Next up: Twin Day! 👯‍♀️💜

📸 Picture Day is coming up!

Picture Day at Encompass Academy is Tuesday, September 8th! Students should come to school in uniform and ready for their photo. ✨

Smile big, Encompass! 💜📸
