Revel Rancharrah

Learning is always in session at Revel! Our residents are excited to dive into a new MasterClass exploring diplomacy through the experiences of former Secretaries of State Condoleezza Rice and Madeleine Albright. Each class is followed by engaging conversations led by our Resident Experience Director, along with take-home materials and assignments designed to keep the learning going.

At Revel, we know satisfied residents & guests are the keys to a thriving community. Share your Revel experiences with us!

We love being so close to the beauty of Lake Tahoe! After a wonderful lunch outing at Jake’s on the Lake, residents took time to enjoy a walk on the beach and take in the breathtaking views.

It's always an adventure on our mystery outings, where residents board the community shuttle, not knowing where they're going or what they will be doing. This week's mystery outing took them to a local favorite, Big Horn Olive Oil Company, where they were treated to a tasting of many varieties of balsamic vinegars and olive oils alongside a full spread of charcuterie and a presentation on the many health benefits of olive oil. It was a delicious surprise for all!

Our “Last Squeeze of Summer” Happy Hour was a huge hit! Residents enjoyed an elevated lemonade stand featuring lavender, watermelon, blueberry, and classic lemonade, complete with fun garnishes and the option to add a splash of alcohol for an "adult lemonade". It was the perfect way to toast the end of summer and as we head into our beautiful fall weather!

We had a lovely bracelet-making event today, hosted by our very own resident, Barbara H. Everyone had a great time enjoying a light lunch of Salmon Citrus Salad and Lime Tarts while crafting their own beautiful bracelet to take home. Thank you to all who joined us!

We celebrated Grandparents' Day with a fun-filled afternoon for the whole family! Residents enjoyed special time with their grandchildren during family pool time, Disney karaoke, and a screening of Moana in our movie theater, complete with a candy buffet. It was a wonderful opportunity to make memories together while enjoying all our community has to offer.

Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to honor and celebrate the histories, cultures, traditions, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. Throughout this month, we recognize the many ways Hispanic and Latino people have shaped our workplaces, communities, and world through leadership, creativity, innovation, service, and everyday impact. As we celebrate, we also invite continued learning, reflection, and appreciation for the diverse stories and experiences that make this heritage so meaningful. Together, let’s honor the past, celebrate the present, and continue building a more inclusive future.

Our Revel Players readers theater group is hard at work preparing for their next performance. As one of the newer tiers in our Revel in the Arts programming, they are fast becoming a favorite of their fellow residents and families alike. We are all excited to see what they have up their sleeve next!

Revel Living is about more than enjoying life on your own; it's about creating meaningful moments with family too! This Grandparents' Day, we're celebrating all the wonderful ways residents can share their passions and discover new experiences with grandchildren, like beekeeping at Revel Lacey.
