Families with young PBS kids are invited to kick off the month of October with us at Reno Adventure Hike! 🍂🌲

Scouting America - Nevada Area Council (Nevada Area Scouting) will host a short hike, activity fair, and cookout lunch that is sure to be fun for all of the family! Activities will include an introduction to fly-fishing, panning for gold, identifying animal tracks, and more!

Julianne Mahoney, thru-hiker, ultra runner, and content creator, is on this week's !

Mahoney is one of the two lucky winners of the Carson City to Canada Quest, which gave her the opportunity to hike from Nevada’s capitol to the U.S. – Canada border along the Pacific Crest Trail. She shares with host Dave Santina about the process of being selected and some stories and tricks she's learned from thru-hiking.
