Downtown Reno Partnership

Our p**p patrol team was out again in full force this morning visiting more pet-friendly residential properties in downtown, talking with dog owners and putting up more signage to educate and remind those who live, work and visit downtown to pick up after your dog!

There are numerous bags along Virginia Street, provided by the City of Reno Government, as well as numerous trash cans. And if that's not motivation enough, Washoe County Code 55.130 allows for fines of up to $500 for not cleaning up after your dog.

Please join us in congratulating our latest employee of the month, Ambassador Norman! There doesn’t seem to be any challenge that he can't conquer! From keeping our equipment ready for service to helping our administrative staff in the office, Ambassador Normal is always a reliable source of support and assistance for the entire staff at the Downtown Reno Partnership.

In the field, he is known to be responsive, respectful, and capable of handling any situation that he encounters. Stakeholders enjoy his professional and friendly manner and constantly compliment his work ethic and obvious enjoyment of his job. Thank you, Ambassador Normal, for using your unique talents to make the Downtown Reno area better!

Thank you for all of your efforts in Downtown Reno, Washoe County Sheriff's Office! We enjoyed getting to be alongside of you during the recent USBC- Open Championships tournament at the National Bowling Stadium!

After four months of having more than 55,000 USBC- Open Championships bowlers in town, their current tournament comes to a close tomorrow. Our team has enjoyed welcoming them to Downtown Reno, especially during Tuesday activation we held for them each week since March which featured treats, swag, music, Rollin Rec and more. Until the next tournament!
