Congratulations to Step 1 Administrative Assistant Jill Kirby on her two-year work anniversary on July 31st.

Jill brings her education (BA in Communications with a Minor in Psychology) to her work here at Step 1.

Jill collects and compiles all our statistical data, as well as writes informative grant reports and articles for the Step 1 newsletter. She has also become instrumental in facilitating our Anniversary and Awards Gala as well at the Gift of Hope Golf Tournament.

Step 1 Executive Director Rachelle Tourville Pellissier states, “I don’t know what we would do without Jill. She brings her positive attitude to work every day and keeps us organized and moving forward.” Thank you, Jill, for your dedication and service to Step 1 and our clients.

Congratulations to Heather on her 10-Year Sober Anniversary!

Step 1 would also like to congratulate Heather Tabatt on her 10-year Soberversary! Lead Program Counselor, Heather Tabatt regularly counsels men on their path to sobriety.

Her years being dedicated to remaining substance and alcohol free allow her to help guide these men into richer and more fulfilling lives.

Heather states “I thought I was giving something up. Instead, recovery helped me become the person I was searching for all along”, which fuels her ability to help others

Harold states, “Twelve years ago today, I was arrested off a city bus. I was addicted to he**in, hopeless, homeless, and had tons of shame. Twelve years later, I’m proud of the man I am today! I am a sober and present father, and I am blessed to work in the organization that helped me to change my life, Step 1, Inc. I help lead lost men to a new way of living - Recovery!
