Sustainable Renton will be set up with a sustainability shop & information booth at Piazza Park — your one-stop spot to learn how to live a little greener and pick up some eco-friendly goodies while you're at it. As an added bonus, we'll have a selection of garden plants available today only — the perfect last-minute addition to your garden!

Volunteers needed! Two shifts to fill for the Greens for Good program!
1st shift: One volunteer to meet at St. Matthews (1700 Edmonds Ave NE, Renton, WA 98056) and ride along in the Sustainable Renton van to the Capitol Hill Farmers Market.
2nd shift: Two volunteers to meet at Renton Farmers Market (233 Burnett Ave S, Renton, WA 98057).
Volunteers will be distributing empty produce boxes to farmers and then loading up full boxes at the end of the market. Note that these roles will be working outside in all weather conditions and will require frequent lifting of heavy boxes.

Volunteers needed Monday 6/14/2026 from 3pm-5pm. Come sort food with your fellow community members, lift produce boxes, bend down and lift tables. Looking for some community service hours? Guess what we're cooking up?! Sustainable Renton is teaming up with the Legacy Square Activation Project and the Renton Rotary to create a community cookbook — and WE WANT YOUR RECIPES!

Recipes will be collected through September 19th, with final collection at the Legacy Square Harvest Festival!
