Eastern Washington is still hurting.
Homes have been lost. Families have been displaced. Communities are working every day to recover.
When disaster struck, VFW Posts across the affected areas did what they have always done—they stepped up.
Our Posts have opened their doors to provide:
• Emergency shelter, including overnight accommodations
• Free meals for evacuees and first responders
• Community donation drop-off locations
• Direct support for veterans, their families, and neighbors
The need is far from over.
Your donation to the VFW Department of Washington Disaster Relief Fund will help our Posts continue providing critical assistance where it is needed most.
No One Does More for Veterans.
And when our communities need us, VFW members answer the call.
Please consider making a donation today and help us continue serving Eastern Washington.

The VFW supports many provisions of the Take Care of America's Veterans Act, including the Major Richard Star Act, stronger mental health protections, and expanded support for surviving families.
What we cannot support is paying for those priorities by reducing earned disability compensation for future generations of veterans.
One generation of veterans should never be asked to pay for another.
We are asking every VFW member, veteran, family member, and supporter to contact Congress today and urge them to remove the proposed disability compensation offsets while preserving the rest of the legislation.
Take action now:

Your voice matters. Congress needs to hear that America must keep its promise to both today's veterans and those who will serve tomorrow.
