Opportunity for entrepreneurs in our community!

Pioneer Human Services is recruiting for its next INVEST cohort, an eight-week entrepreneurship program designed specifically for formerly incarcerated and justice-impacted people who are ready to turn their ideas into businesses.

Participants will build the skills, mindset, and tools needed to start and grow a business, while learning alongside others committed to creating new possibilities for themselves and their communities.

At Freedom Project, we believe reentry should come with real pathways to opportunity, ownership, stability, and economic freedom. Programs like INVEST help create those pathways.

Through the Freedom Project Homeowners Initiative, Franklyn has helped nearly 50 people become homeowners. 🔑🔑🔑 And this weekend, after 4 home tours, our Director of Housing, brought us together for barbecue, family time, and more conversation about home ownership. 🏡🍽️💛

There’s something special about sharing a meal while talking about what we want to build for ourselves, our children, and the generations coming behind us. Good food, real connections, and a community making space for big dreams.

And we have something worth celebrating! Almost 50 people with keys of their own! That’s meaningful work creating real possibilities for our community. 🔑👏🏾

Our Homebuyers Home Tour this weekend took us through move-in-ready homes and fixer-uppers, with real estate agent Ephraim helping us understand what to look for along the way. We talked about building wealth through homeownership, whether you’re preparing for your first home or exploring your second or third. 🏡🏡🏡

Four homes, different possibilities, and a chance to see the dream up close. 🏡🔑

Getting out, asking questions, and walking through the possibilities can make a big goal feel a little more within reach. That’s why we bring community into the process. You deserve information, support, and room to imagine what’s next!

The weekends are busy for our team!!! Advocating about resources for our community is a top priority. We were at the Rob Ross back to school event yesterday, and supported community by giving away over 30 gun safety lockboxes and $2000 in Food Justice Gift Cards!

Today, we will be at the Big Yard BBQ, and the HomeBuyers BBQ in Tacoma!
