Happy Tail: Lyla 🐾

It’s been just over a month since Lyla (formerly Marcella) went home with Aparna & Abhishek, and she’s doing wonderfully!

Once a shy pup, Lyla is gaining confidence every week—with a little help from her older sister. She’s even conquered getting into the car by herself! 🚗

Her favorite enrichment? Cardboard boxes. Toys are great, but apparently nothing beats shredding an Amazon box and politely spitting out the pieces. 😂

When she isn’t learning, exploring, or playing with her sister, you’ll likely find Lyla belly-up on the couch.

We love seeing our pups settle in and become part of the family. 💚

This is how we party at the end of the work week! We were asked to take these 4 (spoiler alert * there are actually 5) puppies. They were found on a busy road in Sunnyside, WA with coyotes all around them. A kind neighbor scared away the coyotes and gathered up the puppies and contacted our rescue partner, Wabi Sabi Paws, who reached out to us. They helped transport these puppies to us. We will spend the weekend getting them settled in. More updates soon!.

This girl needs a name. 💚

Jersey’s preferred wellness retreat has a very specific itinerary:

At just over 30 pounds, Jersey is a manageable-sized Australian Cattle Dog mix who prefers the quieter side of life. She can be shy at first, but with time and consistency, her sweet and expressive personality comes through.

Happy Tail: Hazel 🐾

Hazel is settling into life with her family and keeping everyone busy in the best way. At 8 months old, she’s already showing just how smart she is—she loves playing ball, going for daily walks, and working through puzzles at home.

Her family says she really enjoys other dogs and small children, and they’ve decided to keep the name her foster mom gave her. Hazel is still learning the finer points of living with cats, and she has absolutely figured out how to use her voice when she wants something.

Next up: obedience training next month and plenty more adventures with her family.

Meet Nutmeg, a ridiculously cute shepherd-mix puppy born around 7/18/26. Between that serious little face, those floppy ears, and those oversized puppy paws, he’s already got the charm part figured out.
The rest? He’s still working on it. 😂

Nutmeg is a young puppy with a whole lot of growing and learning ahead of him. His future family should be ready for the full puppy experience: house training, socialization, chewing things he absolutely swears looked like toys, learning basic manners, and helping him become a confident, well-adjusted adult dog.

What Nutmeg brings to the deal is sweetness, curiosity, puppy snuggles, and the opportunity to watch this adorable little guy grow up right alongside you. ❤️
