I found great passion in helping my students achieve success on and off the field. In the spring of 2020, I started a new chapter in my life....Trusted Insurance Solutions. Two events triggered the start of Trusted INS. My youngest daughter had a fever on Easter Weekend of 2019. I decided to take her to Urgent Care. My family had health insurance but at the time I did not pay attention to the plan that we had. Like most families, we are on a tight budget living paycheck to paycheck. We had a high deductible plan which required me to meet the deductible before my insurance would kick in. My Urgent Care visit was just over $524. My daughter just had strep. The treatment was a $2.38 anti-biotic prescription. I had to pay the Urgent Care on a credit card with money I did not have. The second event was kidney stones. For the first time in my life I experienced kidney stones. The pain was beyond something that I can put into words.
