🏁✨ Meet the Teacher was a BLAST! ✨🏁

It was SO much fun seeing our Rockets back at Richland tonight! 🚀💛 Our halls were filled with smiles, hugs, laughter, and so much excitement for the year ahead! We loved welcoming our students and families back and can’t wait to officially START OUR ENGINES for an amazing 2026–2027 school year! 🏎️💨

Mr. Gattus decided this year to get uncomfortable and take on a new hobby: becoming RLE’s landscape specialist! What started as four flowerpots quickly turned into dirt from head to toe, flowers planted stem-down, a buried badge, and a lockout, until Ms. Wilden, our science teacher and RLE veteran since 1999, came to the rescue!

Thirty minutes later, the front entrance looked like the Arboretum, although Mr. Gattus did manage to nearly turn the front office into a slip-and-slide! This year, he’s committed to our charge: go the extra inch, sweat the small stuff, and make every detail matter. Rockets, hold him accountable for those four flowerpots all year, RLE’s newest Arborist has officially been hired! See you tonight at Meet the Teacher!
