Rio Refills

Rio Refills was created with the goal of reducing the consumption of single use plastic by reusing & Welcome to Rio Refills.

I am the founder and owner, Jamie Sandoval. I created Rio Refills to offer simple, clean and sustainable products for you to refill to help reduce the use of single use plastic. For years, I have been filtering through products to find clean options for my family. My kids and I have sensitive skin so the products we use matter. Over the years, I have tried to buy in bulk and refill my containers when possible. So when I went to Kaui, HI in the fall of 2021 and saw my first refill store I knew I wanted to be a part of this movement to create a place where you can buy sustainable and clean products to refill and eliminate the use of single use plastics. In our society we are literally buying our trash! So let’s work together to find a better way to have less waste. I am excited about this journey and hope you come along with me. I know I am not perfect in my sustainability journey, but my goal is making progress, not perfection; everyone can do something!
