Assessments are an important part of the learning process at ReadWest! 📚

Before a student begins working on a skill, assessments help us understand where they are starting. After learning and practicing, follow-up assessments help us see what they’ve learned, what they’ve retained, and where they may need more support.

For adult literacy, it’s not just about completing a lesson — it’s about building skills that students can understand, remember, and use in their everyday lives.

Our tutors play an important role in that process, helping students turn learning into lasting progress.

ReadWest is looking for a Program Coordinator to join our team! This role is at the heart of our programs — welcoming students and volunteers, recruiting and supporting volunteer tutors, conducting student intakes, coordinating matches, supporting classes, and helping create a friendly, supportive environment for adult learners.

Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Training will be provided for several program-specific systems and assessments.
