When you're out shopping, please consider adding a few of these items to your cart! You can drop donations off at 1030-F Veranda Road, SE Rio Rancho during our drop-off hours (Mon & Fri 9:00am–1:30pm, Wed 12:00pm–4:30pm).

We're often asked what we need most at Storehouse West food pantry in Rio Rancho.
1) More financial donations so we can purchase needed foods at bulk-rate, discounted prices.
2) Non-perishable food donations / peanut butter, tuna, canned fruits, vegetables & soups, pasta, ramen and breakfast cereals.
3) More part-time volunteer help which is critical.

We are thrilled to announce that we received a $75,000.00 grant from Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico through its Blue Impact grant initiative! These funds will help us continue to provide food to over 1,500 needy families, veterans, and the elderly in Sandoval County.

Storehouse West executive director, Joe Mickelson, attended the event sponsored by Blue Cross when the Blue Impact community grants were announced. Joe was quoted as saying, "This will go a long way to helping us restock our pantry, which has been in decline since the federal funding cuts took place last year".

The beginning of each month is always a busy time at the Storehouse West food pantry with cars lining up as far as you can see down the street. We wouldn’t be able to continue to serve over 1,500 families, veterans and seniors each month without our faithful volunteers and staff. Let’s show them how much we care for the work they all do to help stamp out food insecurity in Sandoval County.
