Support groups offer a safe, confidential, and welcoming space. This caregiver support group is facilitated by a trained volunteer from the Alzheimer's Association, New Mexico Chapter. The Alzheimer's Association, New Mexico Chapter is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting, fundraising, and advocating for the 43,000 New Mexicans living with Alzheimer's disease and their 85,000 unpaid family caregivers. The battle of Glorieta, often called the Gettysburg of the West, is one of only three Civil War battles that occurred along Route 66 and was instrumental in shaping the outcome of the war.

We will have supplies available for children to build rubber band helicopters, make water "walk," turn an ordinary magnet and needle into a compass, and mimic the rock cycle with crayons. Teens are developing independence from parents and looking to spend more time with their peers. If that sounds like your homeschooled teenager, then we’d love for them to join our monthly hangout! They'll spend time with other homeschooled teens, eat snacks, and enjoy a different activity each month.

In September, we’ll bring out all our beading supplies, and participants can create bag charms, key chains, or whatever else they are inspired to create!
