"This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference... for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus" [Romans 3:22-25]. Alleluia!

God-breathed, indeed! "We also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God" [1 Thessalonians 2:13].

He sent us a Savior from sin, death and damnation long before we knew we needed one or desired one. That is God's grace. Grace is not something we earn or deserve. It is freely given by God. Faith without works is dead, a mere empty picture of faith. True, living faith is active. Just as there is warmth and light in the presence of fire, there are love and good works in the person whose heart has been warmed by the sun of faith in Christ Jesus, our Savior and Lord.
