Dr. Yu Acupuncture

holds medical degrees in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has over 30 years experience in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and western medicine. Dr. Yu graduated with a medical degree in 1985 from Traditional Chinese Medical College of Henan Province. She practiced at Chinese Medical Hospital in Luo Yang, China as a gynecology and surgical doctor for over 12 years. In 1996, Dr. Yu became a Tai Chi master of Henan province, and competed in national Tai Chi competitions. After coming to the United States in 1997, Dr.Yu received her National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) with diplomas in Herblogy and Acupuncture. Dr. Yu taught and supervised student clinical work at International Institute of Chinese Medicine (IICM) and Southwest Acupuncture school in Albuquerque, NM for 5 years. She taught classes in Tui-Na, surgical classes, gynecology, and Chinese herbal medicine. Dr. Yu is a gentle and compassionate doctor who is sensitive and empathetic to her patients.
