The Rio Rancho Community Foundation is a primary source for philanthropy within Sandoval County. We connect people, non-profits and resources to benefit all within the Region. We work with non-profits and philanthropists to raise money so that organizations have the resources to make an impact in our community. Founded in 2007, the Rio Rancho Community Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 with a mission to promote charitable activities and excellence in community affairs within the City of Rio Rancho, communities in Sandoval County and Albuquerque’s Westside. The Rio Rancho Community Foundation receives funding through several sources including endowments, bequests, donations, memorials and it signature annual fundraising events, “The Mayor’s Gala”. The Foundation administers grants to nonprofit (501c3) organizations on an annual basis.
